SLAK runs these LAN Days for everyone´s enjoyment and we want all the people involved to have a great day of LAN Gaming. The following rules are for all players benefit and will be enforced to ensure these days are fun for all.

SLAK insist that all people attending these events conduct themselves in a responsible manner and we will not tolerate breaches of the following rules:

The following will not be permitted

• Offensive behaviour or language
• Physical violence (intentional or otherwise)
• Use or abuse of other person´s property without expressed permission in any form
• Entering any areas that have been identified as prohibited
• Smoking is not permitted inside the SLAKFEST venue
• CHEATING
• Any form of Theft of property

SLAKFEST LANS take no responsibility for any materials that are lost or stolen.

Entry fees must be paid either prior to LAN Event or on Entry to the Venue at the door.

The Organisers have the right to confiscation any items considered dangerous and or prohibited by the event rules. All decisions made by SLAKFEST LAN Organisers are final and no discussion will be entered into.

SLAKFEST LANS do not participate, permit, or encourage the violation of copyright laws pertaining to software licensing and software piracy. Our networks are not to be used for these purposes under any circumstances and this activity will be actively monitored. Players must own registered versions of all software.

All Players computers must have up to date antivirus programs as SLAKFEST LAN is not responsible for virus infections or damage from the same.

SLAKFEST LAN reserves the right to refuse entry to any person and any person in breach of these conditions. There will be no warnings given, 1st offence will result in removal of LAN connection and the person from the venue.

You must wear you identification provided at all times within the venue.

Police will be called to remove any persons committing any damage/theft to property

SLAKFEST Organisers reserve the right to deny entry, or evict by force if necessary any person for any reason, without stating or justifying the action and without penalty to SLAKFEST, legally or financially.

Before you turn up to the SLAKFEST LAN please make sure you do the following:

1) Install all games to be played at the LAN and any specific maps needed. 2) Ensure all games are patched to the version to be played at the LAN. 3) Pack the following items: Computer (with network card) Monitor Power cables for computer/monitor Keyboard/Mouse Mouse pad - if needed Operating System cd´s Game CD's ( You never know if you may need them) 1 power board (with enough points for yourself only) Patch Lead (network cable - can be purchased on the day) Headphones - Essential.. Speaker will not be used at the SLAKFEST Change - Whilst pizza snacks will be provided there will be drinks and munchies available on the day whilst they last... All cheap!!!

Do not bring speakers as they will not be allowed to be used. (Unless your headphones need these to operate!!!) Do not bring /use cheats - you will be removed from the Venue should cheats be found. Do not bring any hacking software or utilities. We will monitor the network for such software.

SLAKFEST will provide a Server with game patches and map's on the day though by getting ready now ensures that you will be online and playing with minimum fuss ensuring a day free from frustration waiting for file patches to download and such.
